Purpose of Position:The Project Engineer is a critical part of the Project Engineering and technical team. The role involves deploying complex mining systems at customer sites within EMEA and other global locations. The project engineer must have a strong knowledge of the mining systems and work with Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure efficient deployment on time and within budget. Responsibilities include managing, coordinating, and recommending training for technical staff, ensuring competency and flexibility.Key Responsibilities:Work on product/project deployment of mining Fleet Management solutionsSupport and maintain softwareDeliver bespoke customizationTroubleshoot system issuesImplement customer system configurationsParticipate in onsite system installationUndertake complex problem solvingCoach and monitor Project EngineersCoordinate activities of technical staff and contractorsDevelop and improve software processesEnsure stakeholders are informed of risks and issuesEscalate critical issuesMaintain technical knowledgeReport project issuesProvide assistance to staffCollaborate with sales teamRepresent company professionallyAdhere to documentation standardsComply with health and safety policiesUndertake underground work as requiredPerform other duties as requiredSkills and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • 3 years of progressive experience in mining industry or related roles. • Proficiency in various software and technologies. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in remote teams.Key Behaviour:Customer focus, achieving results, teamwork, communication, passion, commitment, prioritizing, time management, adaptability.Travel:Frequent regional (40-60%) and intermittent international travel required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
