The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable software solutions. An interest in systems design and a knack for problem-solving within complex systems is essential.Key Responsibilities:Design and Development: Develop high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.Containerisation: Utilise Docker for containerising applications to ensure consistency across various environments.Version Control: Manage source code using Git, ensuring code quality and streamlined collaboration.Database Management: Design and maintain databases in Postgres and SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and performance optimisation.Cloud Services: Deploy and manage applications on AWS ECS, leveraging cloud services for scalability and reliability. System Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design systems that meet business needs.
