Our partner is seeking a skilled Project Director to join their dynamic team. As a Project Director, you will play a pivotal role in the conceptualization and execution of storage, processing, and distribution facilities located in Lusaka and Siavonga. Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and manage all construction project phases Develop, implement, and uphold Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program and associated ISO certification for food safety Collaborate with architects, engineers, local authorities, and contractors for seamless project implementation Manage procurement processes, including contract negotiations, vendor selection, and import requirements based on qualifications and cost-effectiveness Oversee project budgeting, cost control, and handle change orders to maintain budget adherence Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure safety compliance Stay in touch with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and provide project updates Key Skills: Solid background in construction project management Enthusiastic about working hands-on in the Southern Province (Zambia) with a practical mindset Strong execution abilities to handle complex situations effectively Natural ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and work harmoniously with the Executive team 5+ years of relevant experience with a history of delivering projects on time and within budget Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills Experience with HACCP and ISO projects Willingness to dive in and complete tasks when needed Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, construction management, or a related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
