Position Overview: This role supports the Operating Unit (OU) Strategic Growth Senior Director and supports in orchestrating the localization of Global Strategy (How to Win locally) and ensuring the Operating Unit (OU) organization is aligned towards a common growth agenda. In addition, the Director, Strategy will partner with Franchise Strategy Directors to develop actionable insights at market level that will ensure a winning commercial and competitive strategy in the local markets. What You’ll Do for Us Localizing the global strategy and leading the development of the Africa Operating Unit Growth Agenda: Set the Operating Unit (OU) ambition while identifying the long-term roadmap to get there. Identify long-term strategic opportunities, including whitespace opportunities and challenges. Develop clear strategic initiatives for the next several years on how we will invest, capture key opportunities, and exceed baseline growth expectations. Orchestrating a ONE System strategy: Partner with Finance to orchestrate an end-to-end business planning process for the OU Long-Range Plan and Annual Business Plan (LRP and ABP) and Bottling Partners, working cross-functionally and coordinating with the global office (serving as the “integrator”) Driving Portfolio Prioritization and Portfolio Strategy: Drive modelling to inform prioritization of OU resource allocation. Foster dialogue among Category teams to develop and align an effective Portfolio Strategy, ensuring initiatives are prioritized and resources allocated towards the growth opportunities Leading and /or supporting strategic projects across the Operating Unit : Develop insights to drive profitable growth, working with Franchise Strategy Leads, cross-functional OU leaders (Finance, Marketing, Customer&Commercial Leadership), and Bottling Partners to help create actionable strategic levers at local market level Support Franchise Strategy Leads in prioritizing and managing strategic projects with impact across the OU (working with Franchise teams and OU functions) Act as an “in house” consultancy partner, structuring and leading ad-hoc cross-functional analysis or projects Qualifications&Requirements +10 years of experience in several Business Development roles, such as Strategy, Planning, Insights, Consulting, Project Management Office, among others Proven trajectory as people leader, cross functional teams’ coordination and alignment, and influencing leadership team Ability to integrate multiple insights and complex issues through a broad and holistic approach, defining the strategic direction for the business and leading to actionable solutions Partners with leaders to orchestrate and wire the strategy and solution deployment, prioritizing efforts, influencing, aligning and engaging key stakeholders What We Can DoForYou Iconic Brand: Work on the most recognized brand in the world and be part of developing the brands next chapter.
