Job description/responsibilities: Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design plans and work schedules. Liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications. Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, other professionals, and expanding networks. Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes. Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities. Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents. Analyzing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives. Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment. Assisting with recruitment, training, and onboarding. Ensuring a safe, positive work environment. Job Qualifications, Skills&Experience: Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience: Minimum 7 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer. Skills: Must have background or extensive knowledge of at least one or more of our core focus areas, being: HV Substation Design (132/88 kV etc.) HV Overhead Lines Design (132/88 kV etc.) MV and LV Reticulations Design Renewable / Alternative Energy Must be a registered professional engineer (ECSA) or at least liable to be registered. Working with Microsoft Office packages. Working knowledge of other packages like, Retic Master, PowerOffice, Bentley MicroStation, DigSilent, MS Projects, Dialux etc. will be an added advantage.
