Job Description: We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Public Relations Manager to oversee our public relations initiatives. As the Senior Public Relations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive PR strategies that enhance brand visibility, reputation, and credibility. You will lead media relations, corporate communications, and crisis management efforts to promote a positive image of our company and drive business objectives. Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic public relations plans that align with business goals and objectives. Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure press coverage and media opportunities. Pitch story ideas, press releases, and company news to media outlets and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Develop compelling messaging, talking points, and key narratives that effectively communicate our brand story, values, and key messages. Coordinate and manage press events, media interviews, press conferences, and speaking engagements for company executives and spokespersons. Monitor media coverage and industry trends, and identify opportunities for proactive media outreach and thought leadership. Lead crisis communications and reputation management efforts, including preparing statements, managing media inquiries, and coordinating response strategies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, legal, and executive teams, to ensure alignment of PR initiatives with overall business strategies and objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations, community organizations, and key stakeholders to enhance brand reputation and credibility. Measure and track PR performance metrics, such as media mentions, sentiment analysis, and share of voice, and provide regular reports and insights to leadership teams. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field; Masters degree preferred. Minimum of 6 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications roles. Strong understanding of PR principles, best practices, and industry trends. Proven track record of success in media relations, securing press coverage, and managing media relationships. Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling press releases, pitches, and messaging. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Crisis management experience, with the ability to navigate and manage complex issues and reputational challenges. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective PR strategies that drive business results. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
