Job Summary This role is within Everyday Banking in Voice and Service Enablement, reporting into Business Process Management. The successful candidate will be required to lead business analysis activities across our business systems, create a high performing and efficient function through process optimisation, development and upskilling of the team. He/She will be an experienced professional with expertise and experience in leading Business Analysis teams and delivery of Business Transformation initiatives. The incumbent will also be required to perform the role of Product Manager/Owner for a Salesforce Transformation programme within Voice&Service Enablement area. Job Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Analysis: Coach and lead the business analysis team, determining the right approach for the team to take and evaluating this through the life of a project. Act as a recognized expert, continuously reflecting and challenging the team and creating an environment for success. Managing resources to deliver on the strategic goals of projects, squads, and business as usual initiatives in accordance with the parameters of budget, quality and timelines. Ensure business needs and requirements are understood and met by the team. Apply strategic thinking in how to provide the best solution for the business. Define methods and standards for eliciting requirements, defining standards and quality targets whilst managing multiple stakeholder perspectives and expectation. Work with relevant stakeholders to develop conceptual views of business solutions and capabilities required to support the business strategy. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Process engineers, UI/UX designers, CX designers), including operational and technology teams, to execute on BAU and transformational programmes. Investigate, identify, and implement business improvement and efficiencies within the business that is based on market research, competitor analysis and customer needs. Provide input to the development of business cases, and post implementation monitoring, tracking, and reporting of financial and non-financial benefits. Explore and evaluate technological advances and innovations that could benefit operations. Identify opportunities for automation and digital solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy. Drive the development of the business analysis team to achieve high performance team culture through embedding formal development plans and providing regular coaching. Product Management: Create the product road map, manage the product backlog and work with the teams to break epics into features, and features into user stories, including defining benefit hypothesis and agreeing acceptance criteria. Elicit client needs, ensures that features meet Definition of Ready as part of pre-PI planning and the Continuous Exploration process. Active involvement in team and program meetings, including, feature writing (if required), PI planning, all team meetings such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning and Backlog Refinement Ensure alignment between work delivered and ultimate expectations as defined in the feature statements. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent NQF 7 qualification Certification in Business Analysis (FTI, etc.) SAFe Training (PM/PO, Agilist, etc.) Product manager/Owner Experience Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile (SAFe), etc. 8+ years business&system analysis experience 8+ years Banking ⁄ Technology/ Financial Services environment experience DESIRED: Masters in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent NQF 9 qualification SAFe Certification (PM, PO, Agilist, etc.) 10+ years business&system analysis experience 10+ Banking ⁄ Technology/ Financial Services environment experience WHAT’S ON OFFER: Hybrid working environment.
