Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:Safety, Reliability:Provides leadership to the Maintenance Team to ensure a safe working environment,Provides support to ensure safety issues are well addressed by the Maintenance Team,Lead specific incidents investigations, especially when equipment are involved,Encourage Maintenance teams to comply with Company Safety Management SystemProvides support with all Bad Actors Elimination InitiativesResponsible of performing general sites inspections to detect risks during site visits for proper mitigation and follow-up of site teamAddresses reliability issues in the development of new projects,Audit the compliance with asset management proceduresReview/validate the regional maintenance plan for tanks and class 1 piping systemsMonitor machine efficiency and identify any defects or poor performing machines not meeting design and production requirementsMaintain an asset register and the upkeep thereofDevelop and maintain maintenance plans.Costs:Assist in the development of budget for maintenance activitiesAssist in the development of budgets for capital projects according to business needsResponsible for cost control in specific major/special maintenance activities and/or execution of assigned capital projects.Maintenance Projects:Assure that all assigned maintenance activities carried out, are met with relevant Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Environment requirementsAssure that assigned projects are technically supported and designed with applicable maintenance standards and good practicesExecute the projects keeping cost within budget, meeting the established schedule and achieving best possible quality of materials and workmanship.
