This is a contract position with the intention to go permanent. It is a Hybrid position.Job Description:Prepare audit working papers and manage the audit process avoiding cost overrunsProduce quality financial statements prior to the commencement of an auditCompletion of asset and liability matching and advise on any differences and be able to provide guidance on sorting out theseEnsure that all financial statements are released to clients within 4 months or per client SLA and signed for submission to the FSCA within 6 months after year endResolving all queries to FSCA within the required 30 days from receiptCompile SARB and C45 reports for all funds for review and submission within 45 days of the quarter end to be submitted to the Reserve BankProcessing of all investments and disinvestments instructionsEnsure that all statutory requirements are complied with to avoid penalties and potential PI claimsGenerating and submitting EMP201 and 501 to SARSReleasing of payments (Contributions, Claims, Adhoc) on Standard Bank and HyphenAccrual and payment of adhoc invoicesClearing of debtors and creditors within required time framesBank reconciliations and linking to be completed monthly by the 10th of the month followingCompile monthly trustee cashflows and management accountsPrepare reserve account analysis and action resulting movementsCompile monthly trustee cashflows and management accountsEstablish strong, trust-based relationships within the finance team, internal and external clientsWork closely with other departments to ensure that fund accounting requirements are metEnsure that TCF values and a positive culture are always a priorityStrong accounting knowledge, critical thinking and risk managementMinimum Requirements:Matric (Grade 12)Accounting qualification ideal or studying towardsMinimum 2 years' experience in Retirement funds accountingComputer Literate (Microsoft Office, Excel advance, Work)Everest knowledge advantageStrong oral and written communicationDeadline driven#J-18808-Ljbffr
