CEO - Major Infrastructure Project in AfricaPosition: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Location: West Africa (with rotational travel)About the Role:We seek a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead one of Africa's significant infrastructure projects. This is a unique opportunity to oversee a transformative project substantially impacting the region’s development. The role demands exceptional leadership, extensive experience in delivering large-scale onshore infrastructure projects, and the ability to navigate complex interactions with local governments and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership and direction for the infrastructure project, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.Engage with high-level local government officials, stakeholders, and partners to ensure smooth project implementation and compliance with local regulations.Manage a large, diverse team of over 1,000 professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Ensure effective resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving skills in remote and challenging locations.Report to the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on project progress, financial performance, and strategic initiatives.Requirements:Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale onshore infrastructure projects, ideally across different regions of Africa.Extensive experience as a CEO or in a similar senior leadership role within complex programs.Demonstrated ability to work effectively on the client side, clearly understanding the unique challenges.
