Job Description Responsible for driving and/or inputting into the strategy and implementation of product solutions and value propositions that significantly move the needle in contribution towards the growth of the Treasury and Trade solutions (TTS) business. The role spans across the product pillars within the business; Transact, Liquidity and Invest as well as Trade and Working Capital, both for South Africa and Broader Africa. Formulate/input into business/value proposition proposals to be signed off at the various forums, which entails: Understanding the new product commercialisation roadmap and strategic innovations taking place across the bank. Identifying strategic partnership opportunities with external parties, such as fintech to enhance our payment offering. Exploring local and international markets for new products and trademarks in order to expand and strengthen the business' market position including effective strategies to compete with traditional and non-traditional competitors. This includes exploration of solutions with potential partners / service providers. Analysing information, trends, and reports to identify opportunities to enhance the TTS solution set. And several other related tasks which support effective value proposition proposal formulation, within the context of the broader TTS and RMB strategy. Implement approved value propositions; taking accountability and providing strategic oversight into the delivery of the approved value propositions, which entails: Supporting the implementation teams in defining the requirements for building out the solution, and/or coordinating and participating in engagements with prospective strategic partners. Manage and support team in designing customer centric and sustainable solutions, products, enhancements, and business cases and ensure efficiency across all payment channels and processes. Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional strategic objectives in partnership with leadership. Implement processes/methodologies to ensure product development and sales efforts are measured in terms of meeting revenue targets and goals. Develop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions to make organisational improvements. Additional interpersonal skills requirements: The ability to initiate dialogue to build professional working relationships with all stakeholders displaying excellent abilities to listen, advise, influence, negotiate, and present at all levels. Lead and facilitate difficult conflict situations into consensual agreements. Integrate opinions and information provided by various sources to make strategic decisions. Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences. Provide prioritised and detailed client requirements to the product houses and implementation areas. Coordinate the client documentation SLAs legal agreements new processes to be implemented. Client training and testing or piloting internal and external communications and change management. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum qualification: Relevant Degree in Business/ Marketing/ Engineering/ IT or similar · Preferred qualification: Post-graduate degree (Honours or Masters). Two or more years working in a Product Strategy or Strategy Consulting environment.
