Our Client is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team. Area: Industria Johannesburg Responsibilities: Quality Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of fitted components and assemblies to ensure they meet the required specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. Compliance: Ensure all fitting processes adhere to relevant South African industry standards, including SABS and ISO standards where applicable. Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough records of inspections, test results, and quality control processes. Document any deviations or non-conformities and ensure they are addressed promptly. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and work with the fitting team to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the fitting and engineering teams to identify opportunities for improving the quality of processes and products. Training and Support: Provide training to fitters on quality control standards, procedures, and best practices. Ensure that all team members understand the importance of quality in their work. Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by ensuring that all quality control documentation is complete and up to date. Qualifications: Trade Tested Mechanical Fitter Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fitting processes, tools, and equipment, as well as familiarity with industry standards and quality control methodologies. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify even the smallest defects or deviations from specifications. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to report findings clearly and work effectively with the fitting team.
