Job Description: Operations Administrator is responsible for processing, monitoring and reporting of all Custody and Trustee related transactions for the Investor Services Operations function ensuring effective execution within compliance and regulatory requirements. [ads1] Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain networks within the Absa Group across operational areas. Administer all transactions relating to AIS products and services. Design and implement risk reduction, mitigation and avoidance measures to address potential or identified risks Identify and drive operational efficiency. Maintain high personal visibility with crucial influencers within the bank and externally promoting the credibility of self and the business’s growing capabilities. Monitor all transactions to ensure that the required standards of work are met during execution. Escalate all issues that cannot be resolved to the Team Leader and Operations Manager immediately. eg: potential losses, client claims. Ensure all transactions are executed within the relevant cut-off times. Identify and escalate real and potential risks to the Operations Manager. Adhere to defined quality standards and standard processes to avoid risks to the bank through effective and efficient monitoring of transactions.
