If so, we want to hear from you!Auto Wheels Autobody is searching for a motivated and results-oriented Assistant Workshop Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in working alongside the Workshop Manager by overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and productive work environment, and contributing to the success of our workshop.Responsibilities:Assist the Workshop Manager in planning, organizing, and scheduling workshop activities.Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, maintaining a well-stocked workshop.Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and adheres to safety standards.Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe work environment.Assist with preventive maintenance of workshop equipment.Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient workshop workflows.Address any operational or personnel issues that may arise.Support in ensuring the quality of work meets established standards.Perform other duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager.Able to carry out any reasonable task requested by managers or director.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a panel beating workshop.Oversee the work of workshop technicians and support staff, delegating tasks and providing guidance.Extensive knowledge on the entire repair process from stripping and assembly, panel beating, spray-painting, polishing, etc.Must be able to identify different car parts and function thereof.Proven experience in supervising or leading a team.Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.A valid Driver's License would be advantageous.Preferred Qualifications:Qualified panelbeater or spraypainter would be advantageous.Bonus:A positive and enthusiastic attitude.A desire to learn and grow.Punctuality and a strong work ethic.Excellent communication skills.A team-player.Experience as a manager or supervisor in a panelbeater would be advantageous.Salary:Includes an attractive target and incentive structure over and above the gross.Job Type: Full-timePay: R10000,00 - R15000,00 per monthExperience:Panelbeating or spraypainting: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:drivers license (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
