Credit Controller Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Knowledge of relevant computer applications Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Knowledge of administrative procedures Numeric, oral and written language applications Interpersonal skills Communication skills (verbal and written) Listening skills Problem analysis and problem-solving Attention to detail and accuracy Data collection and ordering Responsibilities: Release orders within the credit limit/COD orders once payment is received. Put accounts on hold on the 1st day of the new month. Generate on-hold reports for various entities after payment allocations daily and mail reports to executives and Sales Representatives. Continuously follow up on overdue accounts daily. Resolve all claims within the current month on all entities. Resolve queries and follow up on supporting documents within 24 hours. Process payments, allocations of payments, adjustments, credit notes, and contra before month-end. Ensure all entities balance with the cashbook clerk and that all payment allocations are correct and done in the correct period. Submit statements to customers on the 2nd day of the new month. Export statements to be saved in the shared finance folder by day 3. Ensure all customers receive statements, invoices, and delivery notes monthly. Assist and prepare for audit requirements. Upload daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts. Raise paperwork for refunds. #J-18808-Ljbffr
