Job Post End Date: 31 May 2024 Job Family Investment Banking Commercial Support Manage Self: Professional Job Purpose To provide business administration, governance and program management support to the Group Strategy Sustainability (GSS) functions and the Purpose Program of Work (PPOW) Program Delivery Office (PDO). Job Responsibilities Support a capable, high performing team and ensure an environment for optimal performance is created Contribute to the effectiveness of the GSS team by performing office administrative duties including establishing meetings, minute taking, tracking deliverables and actions, arranging travel and by providing relevant people data / information at the necessary stages in required formats. Provide business support and assistance during relevant GSS and PPOW events, workshops etc. by following relevant processes and procedures within set timelines and plans. Provide feedback to management by preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports. Deliver on due dates through the timeous documenting and scheduling of meetings, reports and reviews Create internal synergy by providing information on progress of relevant projects, initiatives or programmes Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships by attending to stakeholder requirements, queries, and questions and by obtaining and providing the required information and/ or solutions. Establish, maintain and leverage effective working relationships with other employees and stakeholders using customer service, relational and engagement skills Actively work towards building a network across all areas of the bank and an understanding of the end-to-end GSS and PPOW service, impact, and institutional capacity Ensure accurate information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge portals for sharing within team and with stakeholders Meet stakeholder needs by sending necessary communications to the targeted audience and providing relevant contexts for all communications Contribute to business unit profitability/cost optimisation by preventing and minimizing financial losses and monitoring expenses. Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes, systems and policies and support implementation Improve personal capability by identifying and attending training courses as needed. People Specification Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Tertiary qualification (Project Management / Business administration) or equivalent Preferred Qualification Project Management Desktop publishing / visual design and communication Advantageous Experience Experience in managing governance of committees.
