Chief of Staff - Johannesburg, South Africa - HeadHunters Description Reference PE002156/MT Location Gauteng, JHB Northern Suburbs Salary Interval Monthly Package Nonenegotiable Description Our client, a market leader in the IT and Cyber Security Industry, based in Gauteng (Bryanstone), is currently looking to employ an experienced Chief of Staff (EE). Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract. Job Overview : The role of Chief of Staff is to support the CEO in driving the company's vision and objectives. This critical role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional organisational, analytical, and leadership skills. The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in managing key initiatives, facilitating communication, and ensuring efficient operations within the CEO's office. - An exciting career opportunity awaits you Requirements : - - 10 years of proven experience in a Chief of Staff or similar strategic role, preferably in the technology industry. - Bachelor's degree in business administration , Management, or a related field. MBA preferred . - Valid driver's license and own vehicle preferred. Responsibilities, but not limited to : 1. Strategic Planning : Participate with the CEO and senior management team in strategic planning, policy development and decisionmaking. 2. Project Management : Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations. Oversee and manage key projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and delivery. Coordinate crossfunctional teams to drive collaboration and achieve project milestones. 3 Communication and Liaison : Serve as a primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders. Draft and review communication materials, including reports, presentations, speeches, and official correspondence. 4. Executive Support : Act as a righthand to the CEO, providing support in travel arrangements, calendar management, meeting preparation, taking notes and assuming responsibility for the completion of action items. Anticipate needs and proactively address issues to optimise the CEO's time and focus. 5. Team Leadership 6. Policy and Process Optimization : Evaluate and streamline existing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
