Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Cashier Development Administrator at our Head Office in Midrand. The primary responsibility will be toprovide administrative support to the Cashier Development team and relevant stakeholders.Grade 12 – Senior CertificateMinimum 1 – 2 years’ experience working as a Cashier or Senior Cashier within a retail environmentAdvantageous:Certificate in Administration or Facilitator qualification.Minimum 1 year administration experienceAdminister general office management such as ordering stationary, training equipment and consumables as requiredOrganise team calendar including the training calendar and coordinate training schedule and training venuesTrack all department invoice payments and ensure the invoice spreadsheet is updated accuratelyMaintain a stock/asset register for training equipment and consumablesAdministrate travel arrangements for the team such as accommodation, flights, and car hire ensuring that all travel bookings are timeously submitted and sign off by the Group Cashier Development Manager and the HR DirectorCollaborate with the team to review cashier training manualsCapture and maintain an accurate record of all cashier training activities and submit timeously to ManagementRespond to and assist any stakeholder with any query related to Cashier Training on SF, including Stores and ManagersEnsure heat calls are attended to and closed timeously in line with the department SOPEscalate Heat calls not closed within 48 hours to System Facilitator and Group Cashier Development ManagerConsolidate and distribute weekly Heat call reports to managersCapture all relevant training data into Success factors weeklyProvide an excellent HR customer service by acting as a point of contact for Cashier Development general queries from internal and external customers through all forms of communicationEnsure effective verbal and written communication with all relevant stakeholders in a speedy and timeous mannerInform management of any discrepancies regarding systems, documentation, or any unresolved issuesAdhere to Dis-Chem Policies, Code of Conduct, and Standard Operating ProceduresAdhere to Health and Safety rules and regulationsGeneral office administrationCashier Operational KnowledgeEnglish – Read, Write and speak wellComputer Skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookAdvanced till operationsTrustworthy and honestTime management and deadline drivenAdvantageous:Retail Systems backgroundSAP knowledgeSpecial conditions of employment:South African citizenMIE, clear criminal and creditDriver’s license and/or own reliable transportRemuneration and benefits:Market related salaryMedical aidProvident fundStaff accountONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
