Reference: 9448 MLR Consultant: Michelle le Roux Job Description: Customer focus Responsible for original, innovative creative design of a relevant concept for print, online reports and all digital mediums Ensure that concepts meet the requirements of the design brief, all designs are reviewed by senior designer and key stakeholders as well as being completed in full and on time with supporting rationales and research Ensure that the quality of each design meets stakeholder expectations Ability to present and collaborate with clients Follow the procedures according to the workflow process and suggest process improvements Ensure that the stylesheets are created according to the approved design Perform regular quality checks on product during production prior to printing /go live of report Proactively escalate any potential challenges or any technical aspects to the Traffic Manager, Project Manager and other key stakeholders Ensure Traffic Manager, Project Manager and other key stakeholders are kept appraised of progress and solutions to problems Provide support to internal production team Attend internal meetings as required by the workflow process Ensure that company rules with respect to house corrections (etc.) and brief instructions are followed House corrections are kept below 10% of the actual hours spent on the job Accurate daily recording of time with details worked on projects Data management, saving and archiving files of jobs and studio library to the network Build constructive relationships within the team and across the business Qualifications: Relevant Graphic design degree or diploma 1 to 3 years’ experience gained in a similar position, as well as typesetting experience Previous experience gained in an advertising or marketing agency, or within a large corporate environment Portfolio demonstrating creative and innovative design Ability to do accurate typesetting and ensure exceptional quality when typesetting own work High-level knowledge of printing and production processes Advanced levels of Mac: Adobe CC suite, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop Microsoft Windows Outlook suite How to Apply: Email your comprehensive CV to exceedhr@exceed.co.za .
