Qualifications&Experience Marketing Degree/ Diploma or equivalent BCom/IMM Must have at least 5 years Advertising Agency experience Must have at least 5 years of Sales experience Must have at least 2 years of Management experience Computer literate – Advanced PowerPoint&Excel Key Tasks and Responsibilities Sales role: Drive and motivate Sales Staff. Manage the Sales Budget of all sales staff and accurately report on sales activity and forecasts. Assist with Sales Training. Drive new business and manage existing client relationships. Project Management of divisions identified as problem areas from time to time. Manage Rate Negotiations. Deliver presentations at all levels. Deal with day-to-day issues with the head office and branch sales teams. Address internal/external marketing&PR initiatives as required. Operational role: Assisting with the achievement of defined goals and targets with regards to general sales, client servicing, PR, and marketing initiatives. Providing macro assistance to operations coordination and implementing initiatives that will enhance the business model. Co-ordination and effective implementation of development initiatives. Supervising, monitoring and provision of leadership in regard to each of the key roles that General Managers are responsible for within countries: - Site identification, evaluation and acquisition - Sales/ Marketing to advertising agencies and end customers - Operations - Regulatory relations Assistance with the P&L responsibility for RoA. Assisting with developing and executing the RoA strategy, e.g. strategy for growth and organizational development. Monitoring of *** expenditure. Providing an effective communication and implementation conduit between departments and the branches with regards to improving overall communication and achievement of the best possible integration of all facets of the business. Attributes • Must be a passionate sales individual. • Must have a strong understanding of the advertising and the FMCG industry. • Must be results-driven. • An excellent communicator with solid interpersonal skills. • A decision-maker who is able to work under extreme pressure. • Work without supervision. • Must be hands-on and able to close deals. • Must be prepared to travel when the need arises.
