My client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to oversee their daily operations and drive efficient credit control activities within the team.This role which is based in Johannesburg North.Key Responsibilities:Lead, organize, and coordinate AR Controllers in daily credit control activities, ensuring prompt resolution of customer queries and reconciliations.Develop team capabilities, foster accountability, and empower individuals to exceed goals.Set work priorities, create schedules, and manage performance to achieve objectives.Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team culture.Manage talent, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.Identify opportunities to streamline credit control processes.Handle leave schedules effectively.Analyze aged debtors and take prompt action to reduce delinquency.Approve refunds within authority levels and ensure compliance with SOPs.Attend collections meetings and oversee handover of terminated student accounts.Prepare consolidated trackers and ensure quality control on communications.Address legal queries and deploy monthly campaigns promptly.Build strong relationships with stakeholders through open communication.Resolve account payer complaints and maintain accurate student account information.Ensure queries are resolved in line with collections SOP.Ensure timely preparation and submission of internal and brand reporting.Participate in ad-hoc system development and projects.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.5 years of experience in a leadership role.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
