As the Business Development Manager, you’ll sell specialised development teams and solutions to prospective and existing customers, and forecast deals within the sales pipeline while taking advantage of internal resources to promote the business and secure new clients and contracts. You should be a natural relationship builder, highly personable, and able to offer support in any situation. You will be responsible for growing the business in a specialised OTT Industry by building relationships with senior management of both new and existing customers. You’ll drive proactive campaigns and use specialised knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close deals. What you’ll do Develop new leads and opportunities through prospecting Develop a long-term sales pipeline to increase the company's market share in the OTT area Use speciality expertise to seek out new opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit in the OTT area Prepare weekly feedback on opportunities and participate in internal sales meetings Collaborate on opportunities with internal stakeholders as required Support and execute sales and marketing campaigns or promotions Maintain and nurture relationships with new and existing customers Follow up on all leads and opportunities Perform general administrative duties related to the role Promote products and services to potential clients Prepare sales proposals, achieve targets, and increase sales revenue What you’ll need A proven track record of successfully securing new business An ability to leverage existing relationships Sound interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills — the ability to present and report to executives and board members To be fluent in English To be computer literate and experienced using cloud CRM software (Hubspot) Time management and organisational skills Sound judgement and good business sense Selling, presentation, and negotiation skills To be adaptable to consult in different client environments Excellent listening skills to understand requirements/concerns and effectively liaise between different role players To be motivated and driven to achieve targets with the ability to work independently and remotely Characteristics: Able to make decisions and work with low-level supervision Comfortable making calls and presenting proposals Embrace change and continuous improvement Able to work as part of a team or independently Enjoy working and communicating with people A company, founded in 2013, that provides professional services to media companies looking to improve their streaming capabilities.
