Role: Tax Consultant (Fixed Term - 12 Months)Location: Hermanus, Western CapeSalary: Market - Related Responsibilities:Engage with Customers: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing inquiries promptly.Manage SARS Processes: Handle SARS E-filing profiles, update customer details, and complete registrations and reactivations.Tax Compliance Checks: Evaluate taxpayers' compliance status and determine tax residency cessation.Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and submit income tax returns and calculations accurately and on time.Escalation Management: Address outstanding matters with SARS, ensuring timely resolution.Role Requirements:Educational Background: Tertiary qualification in Tax or related field is preferred.Experience: Minimum two years' experience in a process-oriented environment, ideally in Financial Services.Knowledge Base: Familiarity with FICA legislation and Tax services is advantageous.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.Interpersonal Abilities: Strong relationship management, collaboration, and networking skills.Personal Traits: Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously while thriving in a team environment.Organizational Skills: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines consistently.Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
