Leading manufacturer based in Port Elizabeth in urgently looking for a Cost Accountant to join their growing team. Major Responsibilities · 5 years’ experience in cost accounting / reporting or equivalent within a manufacturing environment. · Experience in SAP, FI and MM Skills · Compile import cost files and deliver a summary to the Management Accountant for SAP updating. · Aid and participate in scanning and other related projects. · Fill in for the Management Accountant during their absence. · Support in rectifying and managing Material Master data for transactional accuracy. · Oversee scanning process performance, communicate with Factory system roles, and implement necessary corrections. · Gather and organize daily production scrap reports, and participate in daily scrap meetings. · Create monthly lead balancing reports. · Assess and report monthly on stock count accuracy across all company sites. · Support Planning by coordinating and aiding in factory stock counts. · Investigate stock variances and resolve any associated issues. · Prepare stock count reports for management. · Contributes to the budget preparation process for Manufacturing. · Educational Qualifications Degree in Finance / Management Accounting or related fields (NQF6).
