The successful candidate will be responsible for all Mechanical Maintenance.Duties and ResponsibilitiesRegular inspections on equipment to identify hazards, defects or need for repairComplete equipment checks sheets as per manufactures requirementsCapacity to take initiative off all projectsComplete projects in the expected time frameMaking schedules, assigning work and training employeesMotivate employees to increase their productivity and meet work goalsTo ensure the proper maintenance of equipment, compliance with mechanical codes and adherence to safety regulationsResponsible for mechanical systems installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and services as requiredDesigning mechanical systems and equipment, as well as contributing to improved designs and manufacturing processesReport to maintenance manager any incidents.Attend to breakdownsEnsure adequate inventory, prioritize purchases, prepare cost estimates, and document their purchasesMechanical knowledge of machines, tools in factory environmentGrade 123-5 years’ experience working as a qualified artisanManagement/Supervisory experienceValid Driver’s LicenceOwn transportKnowledge of mechanical maintenance and related universal best practicesKnowledge of legislative and industry protocols and regulations that apply in maintenanceShould you wish to be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly to the advertisement.
