Job Description:Our client currently has a vacancy for the above position and wish to invite suitably qualified applicants to submit their details for our consideration.Ideally, the successful candidate should have:Matric, grade 12 or equivalent qualificationMinimum of 2 years’ experience in repairing digital and /or RF equipment to component level in technical repairsComputer Literacy with proficiency in Word and ExcelWorking knowledge of Application Software, Barcode Label Printing software, and WLANFamiliarity with Microsoft Windows operating systemsSMD component soldering skillsGood team player with above average communication skillsProven experience in successfully interacting with customersAbility to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneouslySelf-driven and enthusiastic with a strong customer service orientationEnglish literacy and numeracy of at least a Grade 12 levelAbility to handle all repairs according to strict deadlinesWillingness to travel for work as and when requiredProfessional and presentable appearanceValid Driver’s LicenseThe successful candidate will report to the Technical Manager and the responsibilities of the position include:Perform electronic and mechanical repairs to productsProvide consultation support for installationsUndertake installations when requiredMember of the Workshop Team to provide post – sale support to company staff, business partners and end-usersMinimum 2 years repairing digital and /or RF equipment to component levelSMD component soldering skillsPersonal computer, standard office equipmentMultiple and changeable prioritiesOccasional stressful customer interfaceGood verbal and written English skillsStrong telephone skills and courteous telephone mannerEffective and tactful communication with customers, sales and other departmentsFamiliarity with Microsoft Windows operating systemsRepairs in a timely, neat and accurate manner of all defective hardware sent to the workshop by customersConfigures and test sales demo systems per demo request instructionsPerforms occasional service calls at customers locationsComplete all required documentation in accurate and legible fashionResponsible for good housekeeping and safety practicesA person who can work on his/her own with minimum supervision#J-18808-Ljbffr
