If you’re willing to contribute and create value for tomorrow’s cleaner and smarter mobility, Faurecia is the place to be.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing process control programs that will assure production of finished goods that meet or exceed customer-specified requirements. He/she leads continuous improvements by utilizing the appropriate quality tools and provide data analysis.The main missions of the role is to :Conduct multiple projects simultaneously ranging from feasibility phase to post launch quality assessment and throughout production lifeFacilitate Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with Engineering in conjunction with advanced quality-planning activities and monitor the status throughout production lifeDevelop, implement and maintain Statistical Process Control techniquesAssure compliance of the documented quality system (IATF 16949) and promote consistency throughout the organizationConduct investigations to determine causes of defects, make recommendations for corrective actionsMaintain customer complaint log and facilitate and participate in multiple 8D’s and in the corrective action process; and ensure timeous feedback on the customer portals and Faurecia portals. Instruct and train personnel in techniques and use of audit and testing devicesMonitor and revise quality documentation as requiredVisit customers and suppliers when necessary. Acts as a liaison to internal and external customersReview all production methods for compliance to quality standards and for improvement of product and quality standardsPerform all responsibilities with IATF 16949 system requirementsMaintain customer specific requirements and auditsInterrupt the manufacturing or the delivery of products when Quality is not assured.Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: The ideal candidate will have/be:BTECH Mechanical Engineering or/ equivalentFour (4) years automotive experienceQuality Core tools certificatesStrong analytical and proven team oriented problem solving-skills required. Strong customer satisfaction orientation.Excellent computer & Communication SkillsBehaviours: Ability to handle pressure and team player.Deadline orientatedDisciplined self starterAnalytical, systematic and logical thinker Interested applicants are to submit a comprehensive CV, coupled with copies of their academic results, qualifications and ID  via the online portals 18th June 2024.
