Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.Your role and responsibilitiesEstablishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by the shipping plan / delivery schedules and work flow, developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasksCoding and preparing proper receipt/dispatch paperwork, collaborating with the logistics partner to verify that all relevant processes for warehouse management are in place, controlled and documented, helping to ensure continuous review and improvementEnsuring maintenance of equipment and facilities, identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary (in-house operations only), optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory and floor utilizationRecommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance, in case of 3PL set-up collaborating with the logistic provider to review and manage KPIs and follow up with improvements of processes, systems, lay-out, costs and productivitySupervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping areas in order to reach the warehouse KPIs targets, ensuring complete and accurate data in both ERP and WMS systems, ensuring stock accuracy through periodic stock take and/or cycle counting, supervising 3PL daily performance and cost, acting to ensure respect of associated KPIsVerifying the accuracy of billing and documentation issued by the 3PLs (KPIs, costs, etc.), monitoring the interface with 3PL systems in order to ensure systems alignment, operations continuity and inventory accuracyVerifying that the outbound/export documentation is properly managed and resolves operational issues with the 3PL including service quality, claims and developing an effective relations with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. 3PL) and motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity and Key Performance Indication (KPI) targets are metEnsuring that group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resourcesQualifications for the roleMatric certificate and relevant qualifications. 3 years warehouse experience Experience in Material Handling Knowledge in SAP Materials ManagementPreference will be given to EE candidates.More about usABB Smart Power is a global technology leader, with products and solutions that make power supplies smart, connected and protected.
