Job Description Overall responsibility for the full trial balance of the company. Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and timeously in the accounting system and payroll system. Ensuring that all reconciliations for the trial balance are performed timeously and accurately. Managing the procurement process for all purchases, including preferred supplier approvals and the payment process. Managing the revenue and debtor function including customer credit applications, revenue reviews and sales reports. Preparing and submitting all statutory financial information i.e. VAT, PAYE. Managing the insurance claims process, including the preparation and submission of insurance claims. Assisting with preparations of departmental budgets and reconciliations. Preparing financial reports as required and requested. Monitoring and implementing internal controls. Assist with all company audits. Requirements Accounting/Finance related qualification. 5 to 10 years' experience in a financial department Experience managing a team will be advantageous Experience with accounting and payroll systems (Pastel, Accsys, VIP).
