Through our own network of advisers or via independent brokers and utilising new platforms.Role PurposeThe purpose of the role is to execute on the client Sales strategy.This will include the achievement of product sales targets and the delivery of an excellent, consistent customer experience across all products at the lowest possible costThis role leads and directs the clients BDC channel, strong leadership is required to motivate and inspire the team to achieve outstanding resultsThe Sales Manager is accountable for understanding Regional Customer base, growth opportunities and specific demands whilst ensuring effective capacity management of available resources in order to achieve higher operational efficienciesTo ensure that the processes within the clients Sales Team comply with legislative and process requirementsAchievement of required audit scoresTo work along with staff to enhance skills levels and create a healthy work environment. Contracting and achieving of training and development plans for BDC's. Manage transformation and employment equityResponsibilities and work outputsDriving profitable sales volume of all productsAchieve an excellent, consistent customer experience across channelImplement sales plans, budgets, and accelerated growth strategies:addressing sales to the external marketSouth African and public sector marketsApply a deep understanding of Provincial client and competitive markets and needs to execute on initiatives that will lead to greater market penetrationCommunicate the sales distribution strategic objectives, plan, and operating model to stakeholderAccountable for establishment of a fast and efficient lead management processEnsuring effective resourcing, development, performance management and retention plans are in place for sales teamRun collaborative meetings for retail salesCollate provincial specific retail tied sales information and compile relevant reports to respective stakeholdersEnsure effective risk management and governance of sales.Key individual ; management oversight of the sales activities, including the performance of compliance function, specifically with respect to FAIS and the product categories for which client are licensed, and represent the Sales Team during compliance monitoring visitsImpactful leadershipDriving changeGrowing capabilityRelationship buildingManaging performanceSales skillsCross sellingExperience and QualificationsMatric/Grade 12NQF 5 as required/ equivalent qualification and or FAIS Credits (min 30 credits in short term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010); or if date of first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010, a full recognised qualification as per the FSCA qualification listFAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5) and (RE1) for Key IndividualIf you are registered for one Class of Business (Personal or Commercial), you are required to have 12 CPD (continuous professional development) points.
