CORE PURPOSE OF JOBTo provide administrative support to the Employee Relations Office.KEY PERFORMANCE AREASCoordinates office management activities for the Director: Employee RelationsPerforms a variety of administrative functions to support the ER OfficeGenerate reports on case management and submit on a monthly basisFulfils the secretarial duties within the Employee Relations OfficePlans and coordinates arrangements for stakeholders (unions) and management, workshops and formal forum meetingsProcessing claims/purchases on ITS System accuratelyMakes travel arrangements, compiles and maintains travel requisitions and records, prepares itineraries and all the necessary paperwork for workshops and conferencesResponsible for vetting of all union membership application forms for processing by HR Back OfficeProviding union membership reports monthlyCORE COMPETENCIESAnalytical skillsCommunication skillsGood command of the English languageInter-personal skillsTime managementAttention to detailConfidentialityGood work ethicProficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office package skillsWriting SkillsREQUIREMENTSMinimum Qualifications: Matric/Grade 12Minimum Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in employee relations environment.Advantage: Labour Law CertificateOther Requirements: Flexibility in working hours will be required to meet demands of the role.
