Basic Requirements: Tertiary Qualification: Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics Qualified Artisan Project Management degree (advantageous) Driver’s License Code 08 required Languages: English (speak, read, write) Afrikaans (speak, read, write) German (Advantageous) Computer Literate (MS Office) Good communication Organizational skills Experience in project management environment Financially literate with a proven track record in: Budget Monitoring Control and Analysis Job Objectives: To work within the Projects department team, as a Project Manager To successfully understand and manage the scope of supply. Co-ordinate the process of operations from when the orders are received from customers, to obtaining full project sign-off and payment by the customer for such orders Managing risks, ensuring project as well as payment milestones are met, while maintaining a good customer relationship. Job Requirements: Liaise with project sales department in establishing scope, cost and time effective concepts for customer beneficial use Establish full understanding of the scope of work on project inception Obtain all the customer’s requirements for the order received Assess the feasibility of requirement for the order received Continually liaise with customer ensuring project requirements e.g., technical specifications, drawings, etc. are made available timeously, as well as supplying updated project status reports Establish a project plan, accommodating the financial and timing constraints supporting order requirements Determine resource requirements for the established project plan Liaise with customers to consolidate and finalise the project timing and delivery arrangements Through the duration of the project, any date changes on the project schedule, are to be managed and effected by the Project Manager With the support of a structured Project management team (Hod’s), the Project Manager is to ensure the successful completion of the project, as established and determined by received order Chair weekly scope of work meetings, to consolidate project status with project management team Support JQS (Jendamark Quality System) General Management, supporting the company Code of Conduct and all company policies To supporting the wellbeing and the best interests of the company.
