The ideal candidate will assist with administration related to distribution and receiving of products and orders to and from our customers, stores, and suppliers. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Directly communicating with customers, couriers, transporters, and colleagues relating to the delivery/collection/receiving of orders. Internal administration processing on Sage Evolution of sales orders to picking slips, waybills, and manifests and ensuring all orders have been delivered to our customers or received in the warehouse. Other office administration duties such as reports, filing, customer service courtesy calls, and follow-ups. Moving about the premises, offices, and warehouse to carry out functions. COMPETENCIES: Accountability Analytical Thinking Collaboration Conflict Resolution Detail Oriented Effective Listening Integrity Interpersonal Relations Multitasking Ownership Passion Persuasion Planning And Organising Verbal Communication EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative role within a courier transportation setting or administrative office of a DC, actively involved and experienced with order processing, waybill creation, updating of manifests, shipment transportation, IBTs, and other tasks relating to warehouse or distribution centre functions. Computer literate in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experienced in Sage Evolution processing and knowledge of other courier programs (Parcel Perfect or similar, are advantageous). EDUCATION REQUIRED: Matric (Grade 12 or equivalent) preferred. Relevant tertiary-level qualifications are advantageous.
