KEYPERFORMANCEAREAS Facilitate the learning processes and outcomes of the Department of Mechatronics.Perform academic engagement.Perform curriculum and course administration.Applicants will be required to register for and complete a PhD in Mechatronics in a maximum period of 3 years.CORECOMPETENCIESIn-depth knowledge of the theory and application in the relevant disciplines related to Mechatronics.Ability to facilitate learning at the undergraduate level.Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.Have the potential to contribute to the creation of knowledge by publishing research and involvement in relevant engagement activities.Proven ability to work as part of a team.REQUIREMENTSMEng /MSc in Engineering (Mechatronics) with BEng or BSc in Engineering (Mechatronics).The Masters must be achieved with a minimum average of 70%.Be registered for, or qualify to register for a PhD in Mechatronics.Lecturing and / or industry experience will be an added advantage.A research record of peer-reviewed publications will be a recommendation.Nelson Mandela University reserves the right not to make an appointment.
