Job Description Asset Accounting * Capitilisation of projects, equipment, moulds and low value assets. * Monthly ICO Transfers * Completion of Depreciation runs * Elimination of intercompany mark-up. * Calculation and provision of PPE-related files to Finance Manager. * Maintain the asset registers for Legal Entity, Group and Tax Reporting * Prepare and provide forecasted depreciation Staff Debtors * Co-ordinate employee sales and provide listing to HR Payroll for deductions. * Reconciliation of Staff Debtor account, including deductions posted, payments received, value discrepancies. * Receipts of cash payments and allocation to respective employees. * Local key user and business support for the employee sales * Lead improvements and efficiencies in the process Group Insurance * Day-to-day liaison with Insurance Provider for all operational matters and claim submissions. * Record-keeping and analysis of all insurance claims by employee. * Annual contract renewal * FiRe annual reporting SARS Tyre Levy * Preparation and submission of the Quarterly Tyre Levy Returns. * Calculation of monthly Tyre levy accrual. * Co-ordination of Tyre Levy Refund process with Sasfin. * Liaison with SARS regarding tyre levy audits resulting in closed audits * Maintaining current regarding the legislation to ensure CTSA remains compliant with the Act * Forecast quarterly tyre levy and year-end accrual * Reconciliation of the Tyre levy balance sheet account on a monthly basis ICO Receivables * Account management for ICO AR customers. * Posting of Withholding Tax deductions claimed and accurate record-keeping for Finance Manager. * Payment of Revaluation and Warranty Claim credit notes to ICO AR customers. * Forecasting of expected balances. Accounting * Transaction matching * Monthly FiRe ICO reconciliation and resolution prior to closing * Journal and General Ledger processing * Monthly Reporting * Balance Sheet reconciliations * Month end and year-end FiRe reporting Right of Use Assets * IFRS16 (Sopra) capitalisations, impairments, depreciation for actual and forecast and forward planning Compliance and audit Quarterly FinRep ICS testing and mitigation of risks (GTC reporting) * Liaison with Auditors * Accounting department champion driving automation ** streamlining processes ** creating efficiencies Additional Information Medimed Medical Aid – with 3 options to choose from.
