Reference: 9356 SJ Consultant: Sone Johnson Job Description: Capture customer invoices (HO) Follow up on customer payments, resolution of queries – debt control (HO) Outsourced payroll management Monthly payroll journals Daily cashbook update Daily diesel issue journal and analysis report Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process (HO) Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger. Balance the cashbook Prepare month end management accounts including balance sheet recons. Maintaining of fixed asset register including additions, disposals and depreciation journals VAT recon Sales vs VAT recon monthly Complete company statutory forms Maintain SITE chart of accounts. Creation of new customers, and new suppliers Inter-company loans and transactions Update accounts receivable and issue invoices and distribution of monthly statements timeously Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations, requesting monthly statement timeously. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines. Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned. Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports. Assist Financial Manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings. Assist with the year end audit and preparation of audit file. Ad hoc tasks from management Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Completed articles.
