Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Steel Service Centre environment. Proficient in CAD software for draughting (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Strong analytical and mathematical skills for precise estimations. In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes and industry standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Draughting: Create accurate and detailed technical drawings for steel fabrication projects. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret design specifications. Ensure adherence to industry standards and project requirements. Estimation: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for steel fabrication projects. Analyse project documentation and specifications to determine material, labour, and equipment requirements. Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to provide accurate project quotations. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and production staff. Communicate effectively to resolve design or estimation queries and ensure project alignment. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and estimates to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
