These jobs were popular with other job seekersKomatsu South Africa is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Africa Operations Team who will be responsible for networking and building supplier and distributor relationships across the Southern African region.Duties & ResponsibilitiesHorizon planning, human resource management, financial management, corporate governance, contacts& supplier management, liaison and change management, continuous leadership developmentBusiness Development:Attends mining events with a view to conducting research on latest trends/developments/economic forecastsConducts fact finding and research on possible emerging markets in African countries in the ambit of KAfHProposes Business Development strategies in neighbouring cross border countriesMonitors plans with regard to budgets and progressMonitors the external market (geopolitical & other factors impeding plans or increasing risk)Maintains accurate customer records including installed base, key contacts, sales figures, customer project status and lost sales information for input into improvement initiativesProvides management reports, trends & project plansProvides proposals and amendments to proposalsNew Business Incubation/ AccelerationDevelops and gains approval for blueprints for establishing KAfH business in new neighbouring territoriesProvides input into policies & procedures governing new business incubationDrafts & coordinates implementation plans for the establishment of new businessManages and coordinates the establishment of infrastructure for new business in neighbouring countriesLiaises, communicates and provides feedback to customers and internal stakeholdersBuilds long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with customers and stakeholdersMonitors progress for the establishment of new territories in terms of financial indicators, infrastructure, customer satisfaction, sales, service and market penetrationAnalyses areas for improvement and suggests amendments to policyMonitors existing customer sites with regard to customer satisfaction, new business opportunities and to address issues for improvementMonitors and confirms customer is in compliance with Komatsu terms and conditions of saleDesired Experience & QualificationExperience:Experience wthin the Heavy Earthmoving Equipment /Mining industry an advantageMS Office (Advanced)SAP-BI (Reporting)Qualification:B.Com degree with Accounting/Marketing (NQF level 7)MBA (advantageous) Mining & Quarrying These jobs were popular with other job seekers#J-18808-Ljbffr
