As Appointments&Strategic Initiatives Coordinator, you will work closely with our senior leadership and hospital partners to support and facilitate the implementation of the strategic plan and coordinate the annual faculty appointment review and promotion processes. You will be responsible for influencing key stakeholders to ensure project deliverables and milestones are met timely and efficiently. Your proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scopeall while ensuring strict adherence to faculty appointment policies and procedures will ensure the success of the portfolio. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and overseeing the implementation of an evaluation framework for programs and initiatives Coordinating the tenure, promotion, three-year and sessional lecturer review processes Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders Reviewing and assessing requirements needed to meet project timelines Preparing draft statistical reports and summaries from data collected Implementing plans for student-alumni mentorship programming Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience Minimum five years of related experience, preferably within a University, teaching hospital or comparable environment Knowledge of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and experience working with hospital partners Knowledge of and experience processing the University’s academic appointments and promotions policies and procedures Demonstrated experience leading and managing multiple projects and time-sensitive priorities, including a strong understanding and application of project management methodology Demonstrated experience building and maintaining positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders Demonstrated experience preparing analysis and metrics for reports and making recommendations for improvement and implementation Demonstrated vendor management experience, with the ability to creatively resolve unanticipated issues and ensure successful implementation of services Experience supporting and facilitating focus groups and senior level committees Experience processing payroll transactions Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and survey tools; demonstrated experience using project management tools, including proficiency with Gantt charts Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills Exceptional organizational skills in project planning, and task coordination Strong time management skills including the ability to set priorities meet deadlines and facilitate/influence others to meet deadlines Ability to cope with pressures and deadlines and adapt to evolving processes and procedures Ability toanalyze and synthesize information from multiple sources and provide recommendations Strong initiative, resourceful and excellent attention to detail Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with executive level stakeholders Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player Must be an effective problem solver and have exceptional organizational and time management skills Assets (Nonessential): Experience working with HRIS, Laserfiche, FOCUS and Microsoft OneDrive To be successful in this role you will be: Diplomatic Proactive Resourceful Self-directed This is a term position until December 2025.
