Duties:Call on valued retail customers (PnPs, Spars, Food Lovers, Independents etc) and clients in the Hospitality sector in the Southern Cape (Plett to Stilbaai) with a strong focus on developing business within them. Working with your manager, you would develop growth plans for each store and execute them.Developing new business by opening new accounts. This is done by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.Motivate, activate, and monitor in-store promotions. Often over weekends, you will have promotional teams you would manage, not necessarily be there in personBDMs are responsible for the order & delivery process, customer stock, shelf management & occasional complaints.Management of your Delivery and Tele-Sales team (2-6 people).Attend regular training meetings.Maintain customer records, using a bespoke CRM system.Package:Our client offers a basic salary of R20k, which is negotiable, dependent on experience, a well defined commission structure with potential to double take-home salary.Additional target bonuses throughout the year (monthly).A branded vehicle.Cellphone and tablet with data allowance.Participation in company profit share scheme after 1 year service.
