Job Description Weare looking for a Sales Representative in the public and private utilitiesmetering space, selling Electricity, Water and Gas metering solutions andproducts to public and private utility customers. Theideal candidate must be a results-driven, business savvy, technical mindedindividual that will actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You willprovide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top&bottom-line revenue growth and profitability. Ensuring that agreed salesobjectives are met or exceeded and growing revenue, profitability andincreasing the company market share within the private and public utilitymarkets. Reporting to the Business Development Manager. KeyPerformance Areas: · Promote the company’sproducts and services. · Develop and implement acustomer growth strategy (Active hunting). · Identify, pursue and closenew business opportunities. · Retain and grow existingcustomer business. · Plan to meet sales targetsand budgets. · Analyze and investigatepricing, demand&competition. · Confer with customers andtechnical staff to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements. · Conduct research and coldcall potential customers to identify potential new markets and customers. · Create detailed proposaldocuments and formal bidding process documentation. · Prepare&delivertechnical presentations explaining products or services to prospective customers. · Communicating new productdevelopments to existing and prospective clients · Provide sales&forecastsreports. · Manage the sales cycle frominception to completion. · Build long-term relationshipswith new and existing customers. Requirements Skills and Education Required · Tertiary Qualification inBusiness, Electrical and/or Engineering. · Minimum of Five (5) Yearsproven sales track record and work experience in the Electricity and/or Water meteringspace. · Experience in technical salesenvironment · Proven track record achievingsales targets. · Good communication, presentationand negotiation skills · Ability to build and maintaincustomer relationships. · Capability to grow in acompetitive environment. · The ability to handle andinfluence customers efficiently. · Must be Fluent in English · Must be willing to travelextensively nationally.
