CORE PURPOSE OF JOB Pro-active HR service excellence, in solution and support, delivered to all relevant stakeholders to enable the achievement of stakeholder strategic objectives KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Build and maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders as an HR Service Partner to ensure an effective HR support service to designated areas of responsibility. Facilitate recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a diversified work force is timely sourced in and, organised and comprehensive procedure is followed. Provide overall HR support and advice to line managers and employees. Drive and support conceptualisation and implementation of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Development strategies Ensure implementation of HR policies and procedures. Provide a first line Employment Relations and Wellness service to line managers Support the implementation of human resources projects in support of HR strategic objectives Perform all the HR-related administrative tasks within the scope of this job Maintain and enhance fit for the delivery organisation and people resources CORE COMPETENCIES Technical/professional HR knowledge and skill. Tech-savvy or ability to embrace HR Technologies Client service orientation Planning and organising skills Sound analytical and implementation skills Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills&interpersonal skills Change Management Strategically partner to Department Flexibility Critical thinking Project management Innovative REQUIREMENTS A relevant Degree or Diploma (NQF 6) Degree in Human Resource or Industrial Psychology. 3 to 5 years of experience in an HR environment, of which 3 years must be at an HR Consultant level. In addition to the above requirement, candidates who possess the specifications below will have an added advantage: Evident Experience in affirmative action and employee equity work; Exposure to HR in a Higher Education environment SCREENING QUESTIONS 1.
