Your opportunity: Reporting to the Managing Director, Recruitment, Admissions, and Business Development, with a dotted line of responsibility to the Executive Director, Strategic Communications, the Manager, Marketing and Communications will serve as a source of creative marketing ideas and promotional approaches for the Specialized Programs. The Manager will work with the stakeholders to develop and implement marketing strategies for each program in their assigned portfolio. The incumbent will also work closely with the Director, and Assistant Directors, Recruitment&Admissions, todevelop and implement marketing plans to create awareness of our programs and to support recruiting targets for each program. This position will also work closely with the Program Services and Career Services departments. The Manager, Marketing&Communications has 3 major areas of focus: (1) Marketing&Communications (2) Brand Management (3) Supporting Business Development. The incumbent will also oversee the development, production, delivery, and accuracy of all external communications pieces and ensure they adhere to the larger departmental and School-wide marketing objectives and brand standards. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the development of a comprehensive and integrated marketing strategy with stakeholders Developing and implementing marketing plans to promote programs, events and/or initiatives that support strategic objectives Developing and implementing marketing plans to support business development and revenue-generating strategies and/or activities Assessing and selecting methods of data collection and analysis for research projects Planning and overseeing the implementation of an evaluation framework for assigned projects Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing and communications, ideally in a University environment. Experience with the creation of strategic marketing plans as well as expertise related to the planning and implementation of integrated marketing and communication projects is important Experience with on-line marketing and major social media platforms is also required Relevant experience with market and competitor research and assist in the development and writing of proposal Proven experience in outsourcing graphic design, advertising, or other creative services. Knowledge of graphic design, including use of Adobe Creative Suite essentia Strong project management skills with a successful track record in managing a variety of creative, persuasive, cost-effective marketing communication projects, from conceptual stages throughdelivery and follow-up/evaluation. Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of various campaigns, in coordination with third party agencies, is important Possess excellent copywriting and editing skills, including exceptional skills in English grammar and spelling; and the ability to edit and proofread. Assets (Nonessential): Understanding of issues in management education for working professionals, executives and continuing professional development in a business school environment is an asset.
