Duties and responsibilities: Production planning within the bending department.Programming on Bysoft Cam for bending machines.Ensure output parts meet quality requirements.Monitor machinery and able to repair faults.Consult with Management to address manufacturing or assembly challenges.Willingness to actively participate in all aspects of production when and where required.Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to.Supervising and training of operators and assistants.Utilise work orders, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements.Liaising with customers to ensure drawings are correct and suitable to manufacture.Generate quotes for customers when and if required.Process customer drawing requirements as quickly and as accurately as possible.Prepare and maintain detailed standardised work instructions and set-up sheets.Weekly and monthly management reports.Upkeeping General housekeeping of the department.Ensure tools and equipment are used in a correct and safe manner to prevent damages.Implement systems to improve production processes and quality.Requirements:Programs:        -Bysoft Cam Bending        -Sigmanest – Would be AdvantagesProven work experience in the Steel Manufacturing FieldNational Senior Certificate.Driver’s licence.Competent in Microsoft applications.Hands-on experience with computer-aided design software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong spatial perception, technically minded & a creative thinker.Excellent People’s skills.Leadership Skills.Maintenance Knowledge on CNC Bending Machines.Knowledge on Different Types of Steel and their Properties thereof.Analytical and Problem solving Skills.Willingness to Learn and adapt in a fast paced Environment.  Attributes:Friendly- people’s person.Well spoken.Positive Mindset.Strong character that learns fast and retains information.Attention to detail.Able to work on their own and under pressure.Very organised.Good memory.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Team Player. Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:George, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Language:Afrikaans (Required)English (Required)
