A major company is looking for a Hard Cheese Production Supervisor to join their George branch.The candidate must have a relevant qualification in Hard Cheese Production.As the Hard Cheese Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hard cheese production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. You will lead a team of production workers, coordinate production schedules, and implement procedures to optimize production processes.Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate hard cheese production activities, including curd cutting, molding, pressing, salting, aging, and packaging.Train and mentor production staff to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.Collaborate with the quality assurance team to conduct regular product inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.Maintain accurate production records, including inventory levels, production reports, and equipment maintenance logs.Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in food science, dairy science, or a related field (preferred).Previous experience in cheese production, preferably with a focus on hard cheese varieties.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members at all levels.Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Salary:R32 000 TCTC
