Included within these responsibilities are all central SAP systems, such as Financial Services, Human Resources, Research Administration and Procurement; the central U of T Student System (ROSI); approximately 40 related vendor and specialized web applications, as well as central Business Intelligence and Document Management applications. Your opportunity: Under the general direction of the Executive Director, Enterprise Applications&Solutions Integration or their designate, you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering transformational technology solutions to the University. Through your efforts in this position, you will directly help improve the University’s administrative management and student systems. Your responsibilities will include: Reconciling business requirements with information architecture needs for highly complex system integration Conducting data modelling for business system analysis Analyzing and configuring highly complex enterprise applications and services Analyzing, troubleshooting and testing highly complex systems Designing, testing, and modifying programming code Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience. Five years or more in a similar role 5+ years developing SQL queries and optimizing queries for performance. 3+ years using Azure Data Factory and developing data pipelines for data integration 3+ years of concrete programming and scripting language experience (e.g. Python, Java) Practical experience using data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) to analyze data Data warehouse and data lake architecture principles Data ETL pipelines for large-scale transformations, conversion and partitioning Techniques for detecting and addressing data quality issues In-depthworking experience using Azure Cloud services including Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics Ability to communicate highly technical and complex security concepts effectively across all levels of the organization (both ITand business) Business information requirement analysis experience with a strong understanding of project management principles Solid experience with data privacy and security practices, metadata management, data governance and access controls within an enterprise data management framework Assets (Nonessential): Azure Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification and/or other Azure professional certifications To be successful in this role you will be: Articulate Cooperative Motivated self-learner Resourceful Team player NOTE : This is a 1 year-term position Closing Date: 06/10/2024, 11:59PM ET Employee Group: USW Appointment Type : Budget - Term Schedule: Full-Time Pay Scale Group&Hiring Zone: USW Pay Band 18 -- $112,241 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $143,537.
