An opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Manager / Inventory Controller with my esteemed client based in Krugersdorp.My client is a large manufacturing/factory concern, is seeking a top candidate with solidexperience and working history as a Warehouse Manager / Inventory Control Manager.We are looking for true go-getters, highly energetic and able to survive in this tough industry. REMUNERATION PACKAGE:Market-related, depending on experience, knowledge, and skill set.Benefits: 13th cheque, contribution to medical aid, pension/provident, 2 x annual incentives. Minimum qualifications & experience:Be in possession of minimum Grade 12Be in possession of Warehouse Management qualification.Computer Literacy (Advanced MS Word, Excel and Outlook)Sound knowledge of a fully integrated IT system, Knowledge of SAP.Minimum 5 years experience in warehousing/ inventory control roleMust have experience in leading a team. Key responsibilities:Overall responsibility for management and control of inventory and warehouseOversee, manage and control inventory levels through cycle counts and stock take.Manage and maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.Manage warehouse movements by monitoring daily stock levels in line with targets.Manage and maintain FIFO system on inventory received and issued.Ensure accuracy of information by reconciling data from physical stock counts and managing transactions on the system.Analyze system transaction to ensure stock accuracy and warehouse integrity.Forklift inspections/ complianceImplement policies, SOPs and best practice in respect of Warehouse and Inventory management. Key strengths & abilitiesHigh ethical standards of work and personal conduct.Ability to work under pressure, strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented (accuracy), strong prioritization and planning skills, resilient and good problem-solving skills.Ability to work without supervision & driven to continuously improve.Ability to work additional hours when required.Willing to go the extra mile in order to reach KPIsAssertive, vivacious and robust.Excellent Management skills.Excellent Communication skills (verbal & writing)Must be able to lead from the front.Being under the age of 40 will be advantageous due to possible career growth opportunities
