Electrical Service Technician Sandton, Johannesburg Market related Salary A renowned producer and supplier of both light and heavy-duty mechanical drive products is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join their team based in Johannesburg.As a key member reporting directly to the Johannesburg Sales Manager, you''ll play a pivotal role in ensuring their electronic products meet the highest standards while supporting the growth of new automotive applications. What We''re Looking For:In-depth technical knowledge of our products.Proficiency in PLCs, VSDs, and other programming devices for industrial process control.Understanding of torque, speed, and power from both mechanical and electrical perspectives.A solutions-driven mindset and excellent communication skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Key Responsibilities:In-house repairs, including equipment identification, assessment, and quotation preparation.Telephone and on-site commissioning, technical support, and fault finding.Sales support through site visits, application identification, and equipment selection.Management of warranties, returns, and customer relationships. Minimum Requirements:Control Systems/Automation experience required.VSD experience advantageous.National Senior Certificate / Matric.Diploma in electronics and/or electrical engineering preferred.Previous industrial automation experience required.Strong communication and report writing skills.
