Responsibilities:Control of all stock in the pharmacy: This includes control over consignment, aged, short dated, excess, and obsolete stock, defective products and new product information.Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.Submitting purchase details (vendors information, invoices, and pricing) to internal databases.Placing orders to replenish merchandise as needed.Tracking shipments and addressing any delays.Overseeing storage of products, particularly fragile items.Evaluating suppliers’ offers and negotiating profitable deals.Coordinating regular inventory audits.Liaising with RP and staff.Keeping updated inventory records.Skills:Proven work experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Administration.Good understanding of supply chain procedures.Working knowledge of inventory management software.Excellent organisation skills.Good communication and negotiation abilities.MS Excel–          Mandatory include Matric CertificatePlease do not apply if you do not meet the job criteria.The post Stock Controller appeared first on freerecruit.co.za.
