G Status Health’s intention is to appoint a distinguished and suitably qualified FRONT SHOP SUPERVISOR upholding merchandising standards and supporting customer service at the point of sale in accordance with Local Choice Pharmacy policies and procedures.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Ensure full product ranges are displayed on shelves and presented neatly.• Maintain stock rotation to ensure merchandise does not reach its sell by date• Restock merchandise as needed to ensure maximum sales• Handle out of stock queries from customers and follow up in a timely manner• Store delivered stock and pull stock from the storeroom, ensuring its packed in the correct place• Ensure merchandise displays, labels and pricing are correct, reporting discrepancies to management.• Keep store room organised and tidy• Stay updated on new product knowledge to assist customers effectively• Facilitate the exchange of goods and handle returns with proper authorization.• Ensure accurate cash flow• Ensure all outgoing stock/scripts/items are scanned and paid for• Report low stock levels, damaged stock, and expired stock• Assist with stock counting, stocktaking and back shopping required• Establish a professional relationship with customers and provide a friendly, helpful and courteous assistance• Report customer compliments and complaints to management• Keep daily takings inside the till drawer• To ensure the achievement of the stores financial performance by driving and maximising sales through the execution of promotional activities and driving cross-selling, up-selling initiatives and superior customer service across the store team.• To efficiently execute all operational activities of the store, including expenses, stock management, shrinkage, general housekeeping and administration.• To maintain the work schedule on a daily basis in line with the Group's labour policy and the relevant labour model in order to ensure each department is fully and appropriately staffed.• To execute customer service initiatives in store that results in a great customer experience, drives customer loyalty and achieves club card participation targets.• To attend to all administrative responsibilities in an efficient manner, including ensuring weekly time and attendance and employee records are complete and submitted to HR.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE• Matric• Relevant Retail/Business Management qualification• Degree in Relevant Retail/Business Management (advantageous)• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a store management role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment• Financial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios, etc.) (advantageous)CORE COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)• Knowledge of retail operations and administration• Strong numerical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)• Computer literacy• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Strong people management skills• Knowledge of stock, cost, risk and compliance management procedures• Planning and organisational skills• Problem solving skillsADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES• Following instructions and procedures• Planning and Organising• Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations• Working with people• Analysing• Leading and Supervising• Entrepreneurial and Commercial Thinking• Coping with Pressures and Setback
